About inch and half lower, but what a pain to get at!
Daren't try and get it any lower with the 19's on.

Used these years ago when I was still a teenager lol! Now touching 40 :-(
Been out driving yesterday and today, with trailer, with buckets of mud (heavy) and no probs!
Trying to avoid the speed bumps until I'm totally sure with the extra weight of the Alhambra.
Also put slightly thicker bolts in as the ones supplied were an odd thread so put in M10 ones.
It's not easy or cheap to get lowered springs for the Alhambra after the face lift. But these spring clamps have been around for years and do the job, and are also cheap off eBay too.

Imho i wouldnt be happy with those on sorry...the springs could come unseated as they are fully extended surely... just my thoughts. We had some G Max uprated lowering springs on our old previous 2001 1.8T and they did a good job and only about £90 iirc. I think theres a pic in the photos section somewhere on here. Ive got the original springs in the shed still and as it was an SE model they were lower than normal ones. If anyone wants them drop me a quick pm.

Over a month in use and used everyday.
No problems at all in using these spring clamps, even with the wider 19" wheels.
Local speed bumps also turned out to be no problem too.
Sticks to corners really well too, with the re-mapped power that helps!
So if anyone is after a cheap lowering mod, these work, even on a people carrier!

hi mate, just wondering whats the spec of your wheels? Width? Offset? And tyre sizes? Do they rub at all on full lock? Looking at some 19" audi reps for mine but thought id get advice 1st, thanks in advance

Hi all, the spring clamps are still on and working fine! So I'll testify that even in a large car (sort of) they still work and do their job.
Hi Ibiza95, the tyres are 245/45/19's I can't remember the exact offset but think it was the same as standard. They came off a VW T4. And they did rub slightly on full lock which a quick trim with a Stanley sorted the rubbed parts on the inner arche covers.
