I'll be getting mine fitted at Awesome and they will also do 4 wheel lazer alignment so i'd hope it will all be set up perfectly ;)

you need scales to ensure balance tho. make sure they do it with either you in the drivers seat or a weight in the drivers seat.

wozza - never thought of that before, but i know of many many people who lower cars by use of coilovers and generally unless you are going for a full on race set up i.e stripped out interior, roll cage etc then you can get away with not setting up the balance, as if you are doing it level by eye and then measuring each strut then you can get away with it.
thats my opinion, what do you think?

You can get away with it. But not gonna get anywhere near the traction you would get by setting it up properly. It's like setting your fuel pressure without a pressure guage. You could get the engine running but would be a waste of an engine compared to one that is set up properly. Whether you strip out your motor or not you don't want it to handle better turning right than it does turning left

Would this not be in the case of a track application?what happens when you give your 19 stone rugby playing mate a lift and you've set up the balance perfectly for one person?sounds like more trouble than it's worth

Corner weighting is a bit extreme for a road car tbh, not just drivers weight but fuel etc should also be taking into consideration. But its hardly like a standard car is perfectly balanced anyhow, get an Ibiza on the scales and I bet its all over the place, these cars are designed left hand drive and then swapped.
