I scuffed my car not to long ago and need some paint for it, I went to Halfords as they have some 3 pen touch up kits that include the primer but I can't find it in my colour, only imperial blue, which i THINK is LS5N.

Where else can I go to get my paint?! Not even sure the proper name for it, I only know the code LS5S!

Thanks

i find that even the official touchup paint from Seat directly doesnt even match the paint on my car, just so you know

Yeh exactly the owner from new or maybe the garage that sold it to me used a touch up pen on my car and they bought it from Seat they left the invoice in the service book but the bits they have touched up all over the car are way to dark. You'd think they would have stopped to see how it dried but nooo they carried on over the whole car!
Getting a bumper sprayed at the mo and he has spent alot of time matching the paint up. Yes he used the paint code but is still changing it slightly as the paint will have faded a bit. He said first it was too blue then he added yellow to lighten it then it was too yellow, I'm just glad he is trying so hard!

Well, I contacted Stoke Seat and they have ordered me a pen in, if it is dark at least I have something to go off, take it to a body shop and show them or whatever. £8 for it. I'll pick it up Friday and let you know.

What colour name is that - Eclipse Blue ?

I got some Eclipse Blue mixed at Halfords once and it was miles off. Was hardly the most accurate mixing technique....

I gave up in the end because eventually I had more stonechips than paint at the front :)

Eclipse Blue was known as Anniversary Blue in other countries (I imported my Eclipse Blue Ibiza from Holland in '03 and it was specced as Anniversary Blue over there).

Mine is the same colour as yours, check out my pics ;)

I believe its called oceanic blue

let me know how you go on with the touchup pen

might just have to visit Stoke Seat myself to get one if they are any good

Does this look like the blue you're talking about ?
This is Eclipse Blue (Anniversary Blue abroad).
Maybe they changed the name on later models
