M1 55UTH from R32 to LcR black stage 2 estimated 290hp+

Hi my names Michael recently joined the forum to check out other Leons

I used to own a dpb Mk4 R32, 34,000 miles on it, and sold it because i wanted something that was faster and mainly because the 32 was too costly to run on long journeys and when something went wrong on the engine vw garages used to rape your wallet!! So yeah, got a leon instead and im absolutely loving it.

heres a short list of some of the mods carried out, hope you like..

Jabbasport air filter, with heat shield,
Forge turbo intake pipe,
Forge re-circulation valve,
Forge upper boost hoses,
Forge front mount intercooler,
Forge shortshift (both ways, side to side and front to back)
Blueflame full exhaust system, turbo back including sports cat,
Uprated anti-roll bars (front and back)
Custom-code stage 2 re-map (done at JBS)
Koni shocks and eibach springs (25mm kit)
Ferodo ds2500 brake pads,
Uprated dog bone mount,
Seat sport gear stick,
Wind deflectors,
Polished charge pipe,
Skoda fabia rear wiper,
H.I.D conversion.

cheers mate, im liking the gloss black on your grills too, got me thinking just read your thread and said you had your r32 stolen! did you atleast get it back?? the recaro's were already in the car as a optional.. but if you keep your eye out on ebay they are on ther once in a blue moon !

Carbon Fibre Vinyls look good mate. I just got my vinyl through today, was planning to wrap the centre console only but you beat me to it

Engine bay looks good too - might give it a try if iv got enough vinyl left

i certainly miss the noise alot mate, i fitted a full milltek resonated exhaust and it used to sound seriuosly awesome!!! I had to sell it as i spent so much on fixing it because the previous owner (tw*t) had discised alot of issues on the engine!! it was on 35,000 so still got a good price for it after fixing it, I was going to try and get another one but fancied a cupra r as when theyre tuned they are just so quick!! I definately feel a stronger love for the leon than the 32 lol. Saying that tho, the r32 definately had alot more road status and i do miss that a little lol

Looking at Milteks for the LCR, then a Remap is on the cards, missing the grunt from my last 2 V6's need 265 out the LCR to satisfy myself, to start with...

tbh mate im not sure how the millteks compare to the bluflame sytems.. can't be much in it!! everythings been done to mine tbh, most by the previous owner, at some point i want to buy coilovers and 'slam it' lol but ill have to take the rear anti roll bar off as it hits the exhaust already when someones in the back and its only been dropped 20mm koni's.. so im guessing ill have to lose it ha. think ive got alot of clearance at the front one.. but thats just a plan lol.

I would love another v6, if i did it would be a 4mo 2.8 golf because of the low price, and i would be very tempted to r32 rep it !! i know nobody likes a rep but theyre pretty similar to the r32 so what the hell!!

what was your v6 before the r32 ?? and how do you find your leon in comparison to your 32?
