Yeah exterior wise the LCR just needs 'down and out'.

The 4mo is a quality alternative! I'd have to really old skool it and do a Rallye haha.

The .:R was my 1st 3.2 and I got an Alfa 156 GTA (3.2 V6) as a 12 month stop gap when it was stolen as I deserved to own one for longer than 5 weeks haha.

I really enjoyed the 32 totally diff to the leon, I cant really compare as the 32 was a MK5 so very very different!, I reckon once its mapped and moving quicker than my last 2 I will be a happy chappy.

Is yours that much quicker you smile?

When i sold my r32 i test drove the leon thinking it would be about the same sort of power because it was listed as a stage 2 but also as the 210bhp one and i was unaware that its exactly the same engine as the 225 just a different map that seat put on!! but when i test drove it i asked if i could properly put my foot down, and i swear on my life it felt ALOT faster than the .:R i started laughing and i said bloody hell what power is this?? and he said he reckoned it was over 290bhp, and i just had to buy it!!! the other reason i had to buy it was because it has EVERY single reciept for EVERYTHING ever bought for the car, even stupid things like a new valve in the alloy wheel!! 3 a4 sized folders packed with reciepts and history which is very rare these days!! ill get a picture up soon if you fancy seeing it lol?!

get that pic up!!! rare that as you said.

The 147 houses the same engine... special isnt it!

my GTA had the luck of me having the best part of 7k left when I bought it so the last time it was rolling roaded it made 262bhp and 220 torque... but it was an animal, I used to love playing with S3's, ST focus's and VXR's the power delivery was spot on when I was finished

haha quality, is it 250 as standard? what were the mods you changed to get the extra grunt? ill admit this, i was at traffic lights on a slip road to the m4 one night and a (standard) s3 the first shape, pulled up next to me, we looked at each other and started laughing coz we knew what was gona happen... when they changed the s3 literally left me feeling as if i wasnt moving wher i was still trying to get traction, but when i could put the power on the road i soon gained on him.. so hurry up and get yours mapped as you will love it mate :D

ill get some pictures and post them up for you tomorrow ;)

Yeah 250 standard but it had lost 30bhp in the 8 yrs so....

I basically did a full cambelt/service and engine clean then Catback CSC exhaust and an Alfa Tune remap - That made the difference.

Full Koni adjustables, Ferodo brakes helped handling/stopping and custom Anthracite/polished lip OEM wheels sorted the outside.

Loved it but as with the GTA.... needed constant attention!

I need remapping haha

Was the cambelt an engine out job or was it fairly straight forward, I know most jobs like that can be very costly on alfa's!! Ill try and push my mate into mapping his as I dont think he's very happy about mine whippin his arse ;) lol. I got some photo's of all the reciepts and evrything from the previous owners and some more random pics that were on my phone!! ill post them below.....

And another reminder of the bad luck i had with .:R32 lol !! If any of you are thinking of buying one.. dont get a low miler or you might be the one that has to replace things that are prone to going wrong ha.

haha cheers, looks better when its not in a photo tho!! Yeah me and the R were both a bit upset that day haha, i was mega p*ssed off, just got it back from vw specialists thinking they had repaired the fans, fan switches and sensor or something.. but no. It over heated, and as i was on the a34 and couldnt get over as soon as it went over 90 it boiloed over 130 and all the dash bleeped and lights flashed saying danger stop! Had to wait 5 hours for rac as ther was a traffic jam on the m40 or something!! Worst day ever! Apparently they put the wrong sensor switch in!! so the fans didnt work what so ever!!
