Evening, never used a machine polisher but think im ready to give it a go. My girlfriends dad has a meguires one i believe and he said it does a good enough job. What do you guys think? dont want to spend too much but want one that will do a good enough job. thanks

You want a da (dual action) one if you haven't used a machine polisher before, I have got the kestrel das 6, its very similar to the meguires one and does a great job, you want to make sure you get the right pads and polish dont scrimp and get some cheap ones as its just a waste of your time.

i used the poorboys ssr 1 or 2 ( not exactly sure without goin to my garage) along with the yellow pad i got with my polisher. god im no help at all haha i then finished off with either dodo juice diamond white, love this stuff or poorboys nattys paste wax ( red ) previous to all this i de tarred and clayed the car all over. the key to it all is in preparation. if you have a good start in the prep you are pissing in the wind bit imo
