MAF problems

Hi all, I've changed the air filter on my cupra 1.8 T and since that moment I've had a nightmare. tcs light on and rough running. Plugged in to a scanner and "mass volume air flow circuit A low" changed the MAF for brand new Bosch unit but fault remains...checked all hoses can't find anything dislodged....turbo is sounding very "airy" if that makes sense... Really struggling with this so any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

U mean upgraded or just changed the filter in the airbox?

Yes maf facing the correct way did second guess myself tho. Yeah standard straight swap air filter can't find a leak (crack pipe etc) the turbo does sound very airy tho since I changed the filter...
