Magi Foam

Bought myself some magifoam after a mate in work telling me about a guy who washed his pals audi with it and after reading afew reviews on it I bought myself 5 ltrs of it.

Used it the other day but I can never seem to get the foam to come out thick and stick to the car? I just have a hose attachment... Is that the problem? But I had a pressure washer with a lance that was just the same and I ended up binning it.

Can anyone reccomend me a good pressure washer that a good lance will attach too ( Have around 100/200quid budget for 1) and any tips on how to mix the foam/water?

Buy yourself a Karcher out of Argos or B&Q for £100 - it doesnt have to be anything special or have a minimum pressure to work well with a foam lance

Then buy one of these

Pour about an inch to 2 inches of snow foam into the bottle and fill it with warm water. then set the dilution dial on the lance to about half way and away you go.

I'm using an older type of the same lance, this is the results after about 10 minutes of the foam dwelling on the car

there are obviously alternatives to Karcher but they seem to be the most common, have the vast amount of resellers doing foam lances for them and to be honest for the hobbyist are about all you need.

You definitly need a pressure washer with a foam attachment, I use Snow Foam, and a standard hose with click on attachment just doesnt work.....

The Nilfisk brand of power washers rate highly against Karcher, something to do with plastic internals of the Karcher against Nilfisk metal bits n bobs....

You should be able to get a decent one for under £100, and they last alot longer than Karcher.

Thats the exact one I am going to buy mate,

Just need to wait a while and I am going to buy it from argos... its 12quid dearer but I won 100 quid of HSV at work and dunno when ill be getting them.
