now might sound stupid, but im teaching myself how to fibreglass, and today, i found myself thinking about making my own grill, i really like this type of grill.........

VW-Golf-50373.jpg

so what im goona try is getting a mk2 golf grill (my mates chucking his as the mounts are broke)

using the slats to make it, might use my old grill cutting the frame out and fibreglassing the slats on, will take pics for you see how i am progressing.

what you think??

Made my own grill for my mk2 , easy enough,

mite have some pics, i did have a mk3 golf headlight conversion though.

On a random note i did se my old mk2 today the young lad was giving it death (makes me sad).

No not a good idea trust me chris the stick i got for it was unreal, kinda looked strange,

i never did the original work i just repaired it and made it look better.

The wings and bonnet were modified along with the grill, not simple as a bolt on.

Chris think you will remember the car, We all make mistakes.

The front end had a short normal number plate put back on where the plate should have been,

Also I shortened a mk3 golf grill de badged it then put a seat badge back on in its place, looked quite good, don't know if i had taken any pics.

Pease excuse the chavy jap plate. Was going to change the chavy mirrors but sold the car before i did

It also had borbet A wheels on the car but sold them seperate before i sold the car, going to dig out some pics hope i took some.

Now i have this -
