right i painted my inlet manifold red with halfords high temp paint. i followed the instructions plus even more hours. i rubbed the surface down , then used "halfords" degreasing wipes. let the car cool down for atleast 8hours before i started painting and left it dry for atleast 14hours before driving it. 2 days after i went on a long run , came back and opened the bonnet too check and the paint had all bubbled and it was sticky. i painted the maifold on the car because i didnt know what kinda job it was to get it off , now im planning on taking it off and rubing it back and using a black hugh engine temp paint from a local spray shop. im guessing its easy to get the inlet off but is there a flimzy gasket inside? is it easy to take off?

cheers nathan
