Manifolds???

hi,

wondering if anyone can enlighten me?


I've got a 1.8 20v SE leon and i was wondering if it was the same engine as whats in the golfs? i've seen for sale performance manifolds for the Golfs but not for my Leon, am i screwed for getting a manifold? or will a golf one fit?

not at all there's loads of them i presume you mean inlet manifold?

well i didnt really think the inlet would make much differance to performance, i was really thinking the exhaust manifold

Big Turbo? He hasn't got one. Definately not worth the hastle or cost on teh non turbo engine

ok i'll put it in simple terms "only do manifold if going bt thus stating if he was going bt to get it done but seeing as he isnt nor has a turbo then there's no point is there?" lol

I would just save you money. Then get a cupra when you can. The amount on money you will need to spend to get a noticable gain is ALLOT (trust me i know i has a 1.8 20v a3).
