Manual Cupra owners, what is your clutch like?

Not related to your car at all as I only have the 1.5 but I noticed the clutch is very light and engages around 60-70% which is about same as my last car but I prefer a lower and more positive engagement myself...seems they’re made for light engagement for traffic these days.

Reason for my post - does anyone know if the Leon’s have a clutch delay valve (or are they fitted to specific models of the Leon if not the Cupra)?

Car Length In Front
Normally you get 600nm when you pass 2bar of boost and get 500hp.
So this one is quite funny :)
Remember his is a Cupra R 310 so there are likely a few things different on his car. I know in theory it’s just an ECU tweak, but even his engine mount was different to other Cupras.

Also as there were several cars run at the sane time you got to see a comparison of his car against others.

I know the Cupra has them, as I’ve had mine removed, and I’m also going to remove the clutch assist spring under the clutch pedal:

There’s no indication of what model it applies to or whether it’s all manuals.

2016 Car has done 64,000 Km with absolutely no issues. I don't track the car, I've never timed the car. How anybody gets through a clutch in 10k is beyond me. Drive it like you stole it springs to mind.

Thanks Paddy!

Did you notice much of a difference/a better clutch feel after removing? I might look into this as it feels quite vague at the moment.

Cheers

It’s hard to tell if it made any difference because I had it removed at the same time of having my clutch upgraded. So it was always going to feel different after that.

Just an update: I got the car back from the dealer. They inspected everything to do with the clutch and said it's all good.

Guess I'm getting used to the clutch now as it felt better on the drive home. Shame I'm stuck working from home now so I'm not really even getting to drive it.

Jesus, yours awd or fwd?

When I bought mine from Marshals the clutch was slipping at 41k, which they replaced under warranty, I rarely gun the car so will probably last years, they did the flywheel at the same time on a total replacement.
