Anyone had any dealings with them? I was thinking of taking my car for its first service there, the Reading branch is closer to me but I have heard bad things about them, plus I ordered a spacesaver spare wheel from them back in January and never heard back from them if it ever came in.

Yes, I use them. They're actually a Skoda dealer but are also an approved VAG service centre for SEATs. I've only had annual services done there and a bit of warranty work but have generally found them to be friendly/accommodating, and haven't had any quibbles with the work they've done on my car to date. I would certainly recommend them to anyone. Steve Weston is the service manager there and he's quite a decent and reasonable chap to deal with.

Unlike Hartwell of Kidlington who I was previously using and who I had some of the worst customer experiences with that I've ever had with any company. I will never go near that place ever again in my lifetime. I switched my custom to Marshalls (previously known as Ridgeway) and haven't looked back since.

Be warned though, trying to park is a bit of a nightmare so I recommend getting there early. The place is quite small and the rear is rammed with new Skodas which take up pretty much all of the available car parking space. You will see what I mean the first time you visit if you decide to go there.
