Looks like it's been looked after.

Did you do the debadging at the rear?

From your other thread you said your after an induction kit, I'd check the DV first if it's standard I'd then change it for the Forge 007p first.

Enjoy

nice tidy example matt.
apexi filter are good but look lost in the engine bay as they are tiny compared with the jetex. like i say there good but i cant see them out performing the jetex, plus there over £100 new. jetex is less than £50. the badger 5 tip is the best bolt on mod you can buy imho and worth every penny. heat shields are must when running a cone filter, not for cooling but to support the the filter and to prevent killing the maf sensor.

Very good advice Sam

Matt - welcome! great choice, you have good taste :D seeing yours brings it all back when I bought mine completely standard..

If you have money to throw at it in places, it certainly won't stay standard for long.

The difference between a standard 225 and a mapped 225 is incredible. You will not believe the night/day change! Mine's gone up over 120-130 lb/ft in torque compared to when it was standard. Enjoy the car and read up alot on here, it will save you not just money, but alot of wasted time and stress on the bad products out there.

1st mod advice - Forge 007p.

If your not totally clue'd up on the best proven parts for these cars, then ask. We've all learnt lessons along the way.

im using autosol to mate not sure if i should use 2000 grit to get it even smoother and the go over with polish iv bin doin it all by hand so tht might not get me the bust finish

want to polish the charge pipe next do they come up well? and would it b worth debaffling it as well sin a few done on here

1200 grit will be fine, just keep going with the Autosol, it WILL come up ;)

The charge pipes are harder to do than the manifolds, it's a harder metal so it takes more work,
Personally I would'nt bother debaffling it.
