Cheers, I think they were from when I lost the old tax disc and holder in the small gap between windscreen and the dash and was attempting to flick it out with a ruler!

I'll be interested to see what you get next!

Ano, the gap is really annoying! I've got loads of parking meter tickets down the back lol. You should give it a go, just make sure you use a hairdrier and not a heat gun, unless you want a hole in youe dash.

Yeah, basically just want something bigger and more refined, perhaps an auto too lol

Forget auto unless it's tiptronic or something! did you have cruise control on the Ibiza? I think it makes any boring journey easier. I can see where you are coming from though I'm just going to make the most of the Ibiza while I'm young(ish)

Hopefully I will be able to got back to petrol after this (I miss the noise) not sure whether that will be a mk4 Cupra, R32, E46 330, S3... yet though!

RARB is amazing, I think it must be that the big beam (actually seems to be like an angle section when you get up close to it) isn't that soild as I don't see how else the RARB would work

Well the car i have in mind has the option to put into manual (tiptronic?)

Yeah i would like a turbo pertrol but i do 20k a year and its not feasable to have that kind of car lol. If i were you, i wouldn't buy another ibiza. I made that mistake (had a formula sport before the FR) and i regret it now tbh. I'd hold out for a s3 :)

Never had the chance to see if the rarb makes a difference, not going to be able to now ha ha

the rarb simply applies rigidity to the wheels as all rear wheels when stressed through cornering actually camber in and out...this arb removes this (the setting will give you slight differences in stiffness)

I understand clearly what it is doing on a car with separate rear suspension. e.g.

But, on ours I'm surprised there is such a difference when there is a large beam in the same place as the RARB is. Hence, the beam must be bendy lol

I went a bit wild through a huge puddle:

So this this I decided I'd make extra sure it wouldn't come off as it was starting to come away on the front edge slightly already:

Left overnight like that, it straightened out well as soon as I removed the tape and should hopefully last, if not I have secret plans for something never seen before in the summer :)

2 months after ordering my light black light tint arrived from china, so I got cracking:

With front layer still on:

Fitted, you can see it has a slight ripple to it that I couldn't remove even with the heat gun but for £4 I done all my lights, re-did one and could probably do 2 foglights aswell.

Both sides complete:

Side Repeaters:

Fitted:

Finally, before:

It also tried to fit a glass rear wiper blank but it was ever so slightly too bit so it broke :(

Not sure whether to get another one and rub a little sandpaper around the hole in my window and stop it happening again.

Car looks the mutts nuts mate...

Just got an Ibiza, standard at the moment like... I’m planning on giving your front splitter idea a go when I get chance; I think it looks better then the lcr front splitter personally.

Is it holding with that tape off ov ebay ok? Can you remember what size you got?
Can you not just screw it on... or is that me being rough and a bit of a bodge job

Thanks :)

I used this stuff:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/130480997350
15mm x 2mm thick

Not sure there is much in it between the different ones though. Screwing it is fine although I think you may need to drill a pilot hole as I couldn't get the screw to bite pushing it through the rubber and the tape. If you search home depot or hd lip then there's lots of guides

i found using plasterboard screws (drywall screws) they grip great and dnt need a pilot hole :)

car looks great! never a fan of the FR wheels but look great on yours.

well i used the screws for ur garage door stuff but i totally ruined it underestimating a bump in the road lol. i have my LCR splitter back on now and used drywall screws again but with a bigger thread in the same holes!

lights look wicked lightly tinted, always thought they wouldnt suit the red but u have proven me wrong lol!

Installed my catch can but no pics of it finished.

Here's my prototype cardboard bracket though:

img2012041000136.jpg

It manages to just fit under the engine cover, the bracket is only made from thin metal so it can move side to side a little when the engine cover isn't on but I'm reasonably happy with it, I'll get some proper piped up pictures soon :)

I'm actually in love with this car! If mine ends up looking half as good as yours then I'll be proper chuffed. Keep up the great and inspiring work Matt :).
