Hmmm it the same isn't it?

I thought it was different because the cupra has a front mount that fits :) I'd hopefully fit the top pipe above the crash bar like the SS style ones.

Would have to be painted black for the slightly steath look I think

Its all far down the list though lol I'd like new wheels before that I think

Nice and shiny, and this may be a stupid question but what they for ?!

Replacing lots of the bolts around the engine bay :) I'll get a picture tomorrow as it was dark when I finished putting the last ones in this evening.

Also stumbled across the "cage mod" on briskoda, which if you cba to google it involves putting electrically isolating silicone grease in the MAF sensor connector to ensure there is no mixing of signals. Increased smoothness seems to be one of the mainly things found, I'll report back after further testing, the way I see it is it can't do any harm!

I used silicone dielectric grease on the MAF sensor plugs and a few others and it did seem to make a difference although it was so small it may have been in my mind
But I would say that it did seem to make it run more smoothly.

I agree it's small, but every little helps lol! might try the 2 stroke oil thing next

I needed 6 x 25mm bolts and 13 x 16mm bolts, I got them from:

Fitted pictures:

And there's 1 more each side you can't see by the bonnet hinges

Finally, if you wondered where my washer bottle cap was... painted and then vinyl wrapped the fold where the paint cracks:

Really like that! All about the details! Such a clean engine bay. :)

Thanks, I spent a while on it before GTI International now it only requires a quick wipe over with degreaser every few weeks :)

Think I'm hoping to get time to give it a machine polish tomorrow and possibly go to High Peak Low Dubs show/meet on Sunday if the weather holds out
