Got to transport some sand backs for this week to get ready for a bank holiday project.

Any ideas whats the weight limit on how much can go in the boot at any one time. Last thing I need is screwed up suspension

thanks

The load capacity is the difference between the empty and maximum weights, which looks to be about 550 Kg. You must include your weight (and any passengers if you take them) as part of the load.

It would be best if you could put the sandbags as close to the middle of the car as possible, to even up the weight distribution.

Or... put it right at the back if you want a monster oversteer session... :D

Just keep an eye on the rear tyres compared to the arches. If you can, I'd say stick some sheets or plastic over the back seats and put a couple in there to spread it out a bit.

dropped 6 bags in the middle of the car by folding the seats down.

While it was entertaining as body roll was gone compeltely, having to brake hard at one point did nearly equal brown pants moment since the weight transfer was quite substantial.

Might have to take the side roads on the way home tonigh to avoid traffic.

I had a deconstucted wall in mine. My suspension is stiff as anything but i still lost sight of the rear tyre and a smidge of alloy. No handling issues, just clearance issues as my exhaust isnt exactly shy of the ground normally...
