Media System stopped working

Just an update. Took into the dealers last Saturday. Did diagnostics and no luck. Tried swapping both display unit and glove box unit with another car. Mine worked in the other car and the other car's units did not work in mine. Going back in next Sunday for further diagnostics but they think its could be a body control unit not communicating with the media system. Its now been two weeks without any way of playing sounds or adjusting driving modes and other functions. I'll keep you updated.

Ive had a fault with the glove box unit unit. I put a cd in and it was fine, when i came to change the cd it spat it out and then sucked it straight back in and then it would not eject it. The system said there was no cd in it. Tried a few more times to no avail. Then tried to insert another cd and all of a sudden it found the original one.

I had the same problem tonight had some tunes on quite loud and just cut out totally nothing, total blank screen no buttons work then came back on a few mins later, does it look like mine going kput too? Another issue I have is ants only had car a week and had ants crawling along dash by windscreen don't know were they are coming from
Mine was blank when I switched on on Wednesday morning, pushed the power button and the radio came on but no display. Stopped a couple of minutes later to put fuel in and when I restarted all was working again, it's been OK since. The car was manufactured in early July.
Had the same issue occasionally on my old Lexus so it's not just Leons' that suffer from it.
