Mileage not displayed on panel?

Hi guys. I currently drive a 70 plate Leon 1ltr TSi SE Dynamic and I've just realised that the cars actual mileage Is not displayed anywhere on the cluster panel. I've managed to find the trip reset toggle on the computer screen but I can't find how to put the cars total driven mileage on to the display panel. Does anybody know how to do this?

Any typically I seem to have misplaced the SEAT handbook as well.

Turn off your cruise control, it'll appear then.

Yes - if you have cruise control on or are driving too close to the car in front then the associated symbol will show rather than the odometer
