LOL, someone else wants a standard OEM downpipe apart from vRSy so I said I would put feelers out to see if any one has one.

Here, there and everywhere ;)
All of the parts we have here will be going back with the development car.

Im sure once the system is released there will be numerous OE downpipe and cat assemblies available.

Initial photography of the vehicle is done, just waiting for overview pics of the system installed and then system only shots

if you fit the perfomance downpipe or full TBE you will normally end up with a check engine light as the lambda sensors will register a difference to the normal emissions etc.

the stage 2 remap eradicates this

Bag your sports cats whilst you can. From what I can understand new EU regulation means all cats be it OE or aftermarket will have to meet the same type approval. The development costs alone will see a lot of sports cats dissapear and cat back systems will be the norm.

Indeedy and CAT back on for MOT time. Used to do it on my 106Gti.

Clamping down on this now though with VOSA mobile vans with emission testing equipment. Seen them around Kidderminster and they are getting more of them. And lets face it they know what cars to pull over.

Yeah true.. Is it me or is driving just not as fun as it used to be :( With the constant worry of speed camera's VOSA van's etc..

Ah well jump on the Miltek while we can.

Oh one other thing that annoys me, the new Polo Gti is in a lower tax band with apparent better MPG.. How does that work VW bening the rules of testing?

Its because the tests are retarded. Maybe the Polo has a little different gear ratio or something. All I know is that in the real world (compared) the polo is a fraction slower and drinks as much gas as the cupra. (polo is a lil heavier)

Look how slow they accelerate and stuff, its retarded.

Yeah I knew there would be some trickery going on behind the scenes.

Where are these photo's at  :rocker: ?
