aint the standard cat a sports cat in the bocanegra

my mate got a clio sport and his car came with a sports cat from standard

Define a sports cat!!

A sports cat IMO is one that has a less dense cat than OEM downpipe. Normally OEM downpipes have a pre-cat and a second cat. A perfomance downpipe will normally have a 200cell catalytic converter, as this is normally the lowest you can go without failing emissions tests.

Clios come with sports suspension, but theres plenty of performance upgrades available etc.

REVO got 246 on the rollers but I was told that was a generous figure as they were using MAHA rollers. Realistically 240 with V-POWER etc and naturally twintercooler and intake will be of benefit on the open road.

mOrk is correct. REVO had kept the DSG conservative by not mapping it and just letting the torque increase in line with the power so it is still around 290 or 300NM. I am still waiting for my guy from INA to get back to me on the progress of the uprated clutch pack they're developing. Once I have that and it's fitted I will hand the car over to REVO to do a map for the DSG. I would hope for a conservative 320NM which I think will be more than enough.
