:blink::blink: how much extra is the revo stage 2 over the stage 1 (TBE £1100, Intake £250, Twintercooler £525 and £50 for the map upgrade) Stage 1 will do then....

The jump from stage 1 to stage 2 isn't that much better tbh, it does produce peak power earlier in the rev range and doesn't tail off as much towards the limit but not really worth the extra thousands of pounds just for 15ish more bhp. stage 1 and Milltek cat-back for me I think.

I think if guys just went with stage 1, intake and intercooler, maybe remove the pre-cat on the OEM exhaust it'll be spot on

I wander if they were the same car on the same dyno etc?

Although you do have around 10-15hp extra from 3300-5400 so it will be notable

if stage 2 is just a downpipe (£500) and a £50 surcharge for the software upgrade over stage 1 then a 10-15hp gain is worth it.

and Stage 2+ will could be the full she-bang and will cost £1925 over a stage 1 map

then stage 2 will be worth it, and stage 2 will be a rip off. But you have the bonus that once you are running the base stage 2 (just downpipe) you can add all the parts in dribs and drabs as finances allow and then add software last.

Makes alot of sense to me. Its what they do on the TFSI

The only thing compulsory for stage 2 is tbe I think so the map is only to accommodate a larger bore downpipe with sports cat/decat 2+ will be where you will see the biggest improvement as the intake and intercooler are compulsory they are advancing the timing in the mid range apparently and raising the boost pressures making the car run hotter with higher boost making the intercooler compulsory

I've just got to wait for them to release 2+ and I'm straight in there :D

its still a 10-15hp gain from 3300-5700rpm and a 10 NM torque gain across the entire rev range. RWhen i spoke to REVO they said the intercooler was very poor and holds back the potential of a stage 2 map

Haha i may be able to afford it by inters, but whether i'll be able to afford enough petrol to get there let alone the quarter mile is another thing :lol:

I really hate all of you on this forum you cost me way too much money with you're shiny bits and bobs that i Must have haha I really wasn't going to go down the exhaust route but may have to go cat back. Need to figure out what it'll actually cost me for the catback and map dependent on when i can afford it
