Milltek or Custom ?

I've been quoted £600 on a Full Cat Back, With 200 Cell High Flow Sport and and Large Bore Down Pipe. I Just want to know if there is a similar perfomance gain from the custom exhauts system. The chap i spoke to advised they use high quality stainless steel with the pipe diamater marginally larger than Milltek's.

The Milltek's are ridiculously overpriced and just want some reviews for those of you that have gone custom

Its a LCR 225, the current Mods i have is a Forge 007P Diverter Valve, Jabba Heatshield with K&N Open Cone, and Forge TIP (to be uprated to Badger5 TIP)

I've read lots of positives reviews on custom systems, i want to spend my hard earned money wisely

I am currently having the same debate, I think I am going to go custom but can't decide between John Ashley in Walsall or longlife in Northampton has anybody had dealings with any of these??

Custom is always best, beats buying a system and them deciding its not what you want

Custom, I did and never been so happy, Never been so loud either, But was Inc DP & Decat about £550 all in, In stages of trial and error..

i popped in on the off chance to LTC in brierly hill, my exhaust was a centre box and screamer rear pipe which the old bill disliked!!!

i got him down to £250 for a cat back system, with an oval tailpipe and what they call 'midsport' sound.

overall very impressed with the service, he showed me what i was getting and what was going where.

so CUSTOM ALL THE WAY!!

Cheers guys, i would think that custom is the way forward as the system is customised to your preference. Will post some pics up as soon as exhaust is installed.
