miltek or cobra, which would you choose

I have the chance to buy a miltek 2.75inch resonated cat back system only done about 6k miles for £300 or a new cobra 2.5inch cat back for £305. Both have the 6x4 tail pipe.

which one would you go for???
 
Milltek. Simply because they have more experience with the LCR than Cobra. Also its a slighty bigger bore so must have a better flow I'd of thought.

In saying that I have been looking at the Cobra system myself though.

cobra i had a miltek the same as tht and love the cobra over the miltek sounds awesome the miltek was not much different over standard.

there only 3in if u get turbo back they wont do a 3in cat back on its own i asked they when i was gettin mine

Miltek for me too... I've had cobra before but I've been a lot happier with the overall sound and quality of the miltek.
 
Depends what your after, noise and performance or just performance. Millteks are quiet.
 
Something a bit louder than stock would be good. The cars quick enough at the moment. If the miltek was the non resonated system I would have bought it straight away. I really don't know what to do.

resonated is realy quiet on a leon to b fair u wouldnt really know it had a aftermarket exhaust. vxrs r alot louder and pop and bang all the time for some resson cupra rs dont do it so easy, i has a cobra no res with 3in dp and sportcat it raws but still doesnt pop and bang i get the odd pop and bang and burble on over run but tht about it with the miltek it was no different to standard sound level wise no popin and banging at all

I've had both a resonated and non resonated milltek on mine and both were quiet, the non res system was marginally louder. I didn't get so much as a fart let alone any pops out of the system. It's all down to their back box which is quite large, i sold my resonated system kept the non res milltek pipe and had a custom (small) backbox fitted and it sounds just like these cobra systems.

I'm just gonna go for the cobra system I think. I want something with a bit of noise to it lol. Plus a new system will come with a lifetime warranty.

That sounds superb but I don't want to change the dp or cat so a nice catback is what I'm lookin for. I paid over a grand for the turbo back miltek on my Astra and even tho it looked and sounded great the welds on it were shocking. The cracked neumerous times. It was the same story on my R32 golf as well, the back box started to disintegrate lol.
 
Why no go custom 3" and choose the tail pipe you want and you'll probs get it supplied and fitted for around £300 ?
