Mintex or Pagid brakes?

I'm after some front and rear pads and discs soon. I don't hammer the brakes.

Would you recommend Pagid or Mintex standard pads, and with EDC or Mintex discs?

Someone on Ebay selling rear pads and disc Mintex for £56 and fronts for £90. So quite decent £146 for all round pads and discs.

312mm discs at the front I believe and 256mm at the back.

Just been on Euro car part, Pagid all round discs and pad come to just less than £170. So which would you rate better, Mintex or Pagid all round?

if you just have standard brakes on your 130 you wont have 312mm or 256mm, you will have 288mm and 239mm

Is measuring the best way to check? If they are standard can I just put in 312mm and 256mm disks and the pads that go with it?

Just measured the front and they seem to be 288mm. After some searching it appears that I need a conversion kit for the 312mm so I won't be doing that.

Are the rears 232mm or 239mm as I cant see 239mm listed anywhere.

No problem, it just confused which doesn't take much?

Don't suppose you have a link for the correct discs and pads on Ebay or Euro parts so I don't order the wrong ones.

I think I found similar ones one there but choose the ones with wear indicators. £114 all round discs and pads seems decent. Just need to decide if these Pagid or Mintex are the ones to buy.

you will need the ones with wear indicators as the sensor goes in the passenger side front, to be honest i doubt you will notice much difference between the two makes with just standard brakes, maybe mintex slightly better but its entirely up to you
