Mira Seat Track Day Experience - 31st Oct. Who's joining me?

Evening all...

Now had confirmation from Kerry (Seat) that I have a place at the Mira Seat Driving experience on the 31st of this month - morning session

Who else is going to be there?? Ghosty perhaps? Sp1derman? Jace?

i have seen threads where buyers in april/may have been offered places - perhaps seat are short of takers.

i'll be at mira, but i booked the pm session tis a little treck for me coming from essex so thought id book the pm session to make sure i made it on time.

still i'll see you at lunchtime though when the 2 groups overlap

I thought the blurb stated anyone ordering before the end of September should qualify? Does that not mean the 30th?

(Sorry I can't quote direct from the blurb but got rid of everything the other day!)

Small print on the back of the DVD box states purchase between 1st July and 30th Sept to qualify. I don't know whether ordering counts as a purchase or whether you have to take delivery of the car but ring the number Mike said anyway. You've nothing to lose.

I picked my FR TDI up on the 1st may this year, postie delivered the DVD box today!

I thought i was not eligible, seems i was wrong!

Got my own DVD today. Unable to make the one nearest to me in Surry? next Friday (due to being on holiday) but am booked on the one at Wroughton in Wiltshire on 14 Nov 07. Bit of a drive and a day off work but really looking forward to it. Booked in for the PM session. Anyone else out there the same???

If I remember correctly you picked up your car on 2 Oct 07 so I do not know if you fall in the qualifying period (End date was 30 Sep 07)

To answer your question they contact you direct. Normally by post but I think because of the postal strike several of us were contacted by phone which has generated several threads over the last few days.

I love the DSG! I'm just waiting for 600 miles to come around and then I can start to give it a few more beans... SWMBO currently enjoying me driving sedately everywhere - she used to get a bit of whiplash in the Z when I put my foot down

Yes, I did pick it up 2/10/07 but it was registered to me on the 29/09/07.... $tealer wanted it registering in September - must have been low on sales... But I 'ordered' it mid-September...

So what do you think?! Does it go on the date of order, the date of registration or the date of pick-up?! The latter was the date when the car was fully paid for.
