I wondered that and checked under the seat etc. It looks like there's never been anything stuck there, as there's no glue residue on the wheel. Shiny new car syndrome blinded me to the fact it was missing, I reckon!

Lol I've done that before, you just get so excited and then don't notice little things :(

Haven't found a use for the under seat storage boxes yet. Only any good for squidgey items as anything hard rattles around. Hate rattles me, so a non starter.

I hate rattles too, so I have put stuff like cd's, cloths, pressure gauge, paint stick, tyre depth tool etc in sep poly bags (old money bags for small items) and stick them all in a Asda bag, and no rattles at all.:D:D

Right, update time. After chasing the dealer 3 or 4 times it turns out there is no separate part for this stick on badge and I feel they're rather reluctant to order me a whole new steering wheel, which appears to be the only current option. They said they're gonna get in touch with SEAT UK, but I'm gonna do the same because I'm not sure I believe them!

My car suffers from condensation in the colder months - so ive filled the useless space under the seats with "silica gel" packets.... helps keep inside clear !

Always best to go to the main arm of the brand, in this case seat UK for anything like this. Especially within your first three months. What they've shipped is a bit embarrassing to be honest.

I also have the under seat storage boxes and the net. I recommend to put safety equipment in there: hi-vis warning vests and flashlights (note that in some mainland European countries you're required to have those in your car where you can reach them *before* getting out, so not in the boot - and regardless of the rules I think it's a good thing). Also useful for maps (for those who still like to use paper maps) for example.

Phoned SEAT CS today to find out what's happening. No one knows. I was told to wait for a phone call which will be on Thursday at the latest, so I hope some sort of progress is made between now and then!
