Mad indeed!

Surely someone somewhere at SEAT knows where the steering wheels are manufactured and could get them to take a little badge out of the big box of badges, stick it in an envelope and then post it to either myself or my local dealer? Obviously not, as it appears to be much easier to get my dealer to order a whole new wheel, make me wait however long it will take to turn up there and then take time out of my day to let the "technicians" pull my new car to bits while I sit and hope it all still works afterwards!

This kind of thing happens a lot, my mate had a Ford that had a electric aerial that went up when you started the car, and it packed up, cos a small plastic cog had worn. Ford could only sell him a complete new unit, not just the cog, so he got the makers name from the local Ford parts guy, and contacted them and they sent him the cog for free. Can you not find out who makes the steering wheel?
