Well I can confirm that the "comfort rear wiper" works ok on my car, all enabled too :)

I had a completely different number to Damiens, but adding the same number (8192) enabled the feature no problem.

Auto locks is when you drive off and the doors lock after 10mph i think! Selective locking im not sure about mate  might be 1 click unlocks everything on the car

Selective locking means that 1 click does drivers door, 2 clicks does all doors. Without it, 1 click does all doors.

I've set the locking and unlocking beep on mine, was easy enough to do. Though it's only been on a week and I'm getting a bit sick of it already!

You can increase / decrease the steering weight, go into chassis / address 44. Default setting I think is 111, you can increase up to 121, 131, 141, 151 etc. % Being heaviest and 1 least havy. Have a feeeling you can only go up to 5...

the automatic locking works on mine i did it yesturday :D the locking churp will only work if you have an alarm im guessing as it wouldnt let me do it yesturday :p

Comfort rear wiper settings before changing

Here is now to do it, turn the cars ignition on and wire up your cable and start the VAG-COM software... from the main VAG-COM screen go for "Select control module" and on the next screen select "09-Cent. Elect." it will then connect to your cars central electronics menu and you then want to select "Coding" at this point you have two editable fields... the one we are editing is the software coding one. The original code on mines was 00140 ... do add the comfort wipe function I added 8192 to that, so changed the code to 08332 and clicked "Do It!" At this point I clicked "Coding" again to make sure that it had changed. Basically take the key and cable out - start the engine and put your front wipers on and then select reverse gear - the wiper should come on.

Here's what I get if I follow your instructions...
