It doesn't fit as it was intended because the kit was for a left hand drive. The website said fits all 1.8t's. Long story, read the thread you'd see....it wasn't the original plan obviously.
Mk1 Leon Cupra R 225 World Slowest Garrett GTX2867R Build
It's been a while since I've updated as I've fallen out with the car again and couldn't bring myself to put anything up.
Well long story short when it got to R-tech they found boost leaks and a few other issues so weren't prepared to map it until they were sorted.... the oil drain also seemed to be intermittently backing up still so it turns out that also needed rework (again) so the cars been at dyno daze for a few weeks having a full new boost pipe system fabricated, intake and washer bottle. Wasn't planing on having it all done in alloy yet as I thought I'd probably want a bigger throttle body and intake manifold but needs must and it does look far far tidier.
Dyno daze took some of the length out of the oil line (which i hoped might sort it- it didn't) so they've fabricated a custom drain adaptor which sounds like it's done the job

So I went to cadwell park, then went internet shopping( bad idea )
Also treat myself to a set of 25/28 neuspeed anti roll bars, and a few under bonnet shiny bits too
I'd already bought the mounts and wmi but noticed they're not on the thread.
I managed to buy the oil cooler kit without a thermostatic plate and the oil pressure shot up after fitting so bought a thermostatic version, hopefully that'll solve it.

Got a fair bit of work to do once the car is back from R-tech.
Autotechnika have done a lovely job of the Wmi kit with the tank in boot. (Will get a photo up once it's back from R-tech) Also the vibratechnic engine mounts have gone on and only a little steering wheel chatter at idle. Definitely stopped a lot of engine movement. The compressor housing has been chaffing against the bonnet frame on boost so needed sorting.
Then they'll be finishing off of the oil cooler fit and front arb, as I'm not messing with the sub frame on the drive.
Then I'll be having a go at:-
Turbo blanket
Downpipe heat wrap
Wheel Spacers
Rear arb
Porsche 911 oil and water caps
Audi TT jacking points (the sill ones have seen better days so I want to avoid using them)

More stuff turned up today.... Just need a car to fit them too now :/
Had a practice run with the das6 pro machine polisher on the Clio. One word. Wow!
Wish I'd done a few more before and afters because some of the scratches that simply disappeared I still can't get over, I was sure they were deep (to primer) deep. Guess not.
Got one photo comparison but it's by far not the best result, I also learnt the importance of masking off the panels you're not polishing, it's very good at taking all the paint off sharp corners etc if you're not careful. Glad I had the mould box to have a practice run on. Wouldn't have dared unleash that thing on the Leon without trying it first, last thing I need is to ruin the paint job as soon as I get it back and have it straight back in the garage for a re-spray!
I may expand on this later , but FINALLY! the car is mapped and running well!
It feels like the end of an era, R-tech have done a fantastic job of mapping the car, super smooth, useable power. Unfortunately gear based boost wasn't possible but it's a pleasure to drive none the less.
Many thanks to the chaps at DynoDaze too, fantastic work on the pipes and getting the car prepped etc. Your Customer service really is top notch, providing progress updates, keeping me informed and always kept to promises which makes a very welcome change!
In the spirit of this project I'll add some negativity... someone's decided to slam their door into my front quarter panel and clear off while it was away for tweaking but at least it looks like the dent will pull out hopefully! :/ You know who you are! I hope you picked up nails in all your tyres on the way home
Hi Matty, it made 390bhp limited by injectors at 1.8bar with no use of meth other than additional cooling.
It'll be limited to 350 for now though for insurance purposes and until the lsd is fitted
Unfortunately gear based boost wasn't possible due to the size of the compressor with a small internal gate causing boost creep.
Nikki has done boost based throttle though so it's nice and controllable. Big grins with every touch of the throttle

Not posted for a while, thankfully nothing gone wrong (touchwood)
Took her to the Nurburgring and tested it out on the autobahns. Awesome feeling sat up the behind of a Porsche gt4 that's trying to pull off but the humble Leon is glued to it
Few pics after a slight tidy up of the bay
And the differential and 50/50 paddle clutch are ready to go on ready for summer
