Hi Guys,

New to the forum and owning a SEAT, but not new to owning a VAG as I had a Mk9 1.2 Polo S.

So just ditched a 2005 Ford Focus 1.6 Sport for my shiny new 1.9 TDi FR 150 :)

At the moment I don't know much about my girl as she has got a wiring issue! Which means she has gone back to the garage I bought her from to get fixed, so fingers crossed I will be able to update you more!

She seems to have been lowered, with a body kit and new 18 inch rims added.

Future plans:
New stereo with Bluetooth as I get bored of listening to limited CDs easily and on the road a lot!

Stage 1 remap could also be on the cards to try and get as much economy out of her as possible, plus more poke!

HIDs fitted as I think they are worth the upgrade and live in the countryside so every lumen helps.

More pic to follow once I finally get her back from the garage!

Cheers

Ted

Looks like you've got yourself a low mileage FR+ not just an FR. Check the registeration date on the V5, my last FR+ was 2006, which was one of the last ones.

Enjoy it, awesome cars. :)

Thanks fella!

Nothing in the V5 just that registered in Sep 05, but still waiting for the full V5 to come through. As soon as that turns up i'll get a proper gander at it :)

Yeah Sept 05 is still quite late. You've obviously got the Cupra R bumpers, as well as different seat cloth to the normal FR.

Get a Sach's clutch kit in there to go with your remap!

Solo garage just called the ECU needs replacing apparently! just waiting to find out what happens next!

stay tuned!

so update from the garage is that she is now with SEAT who are doing further diagnostics on the ECU to find out what the cause is and possibly replace.

So the latest from the garage is that the ECU is the problem so....new ECU and data migration is underway!

Hopefully she gets fixed soon!

So she is finally home!

New ECU now fitted and 60 miles under her belt on the new ECU, so fingers crossed! I think its going to be a tentative few days with her.

Although will all the rain we have had today I now have a very large puddle in the passenger side footwell! So looks like the door seals are going to need to be done once I get a dry day ;)

haha :D think yours is in a nicer condition than Jessmay's :p looks nice though

Looks like a nice clean car you've got there. Hopefully the door seals will be the last of your problems!

Can't go wrong with HIDs, not sure how I ever lived without mine!

You're fairly local to me, I'm from Bracknell.
