Why are pictures so hard to up load all I get is to big to upload

I had the same problem, what I do is use an app on my phone to compress the file. Size and it works great! Then you can upload the pictures directly and you will have no issues. Trust... The app I use is called "Lit Photo" but I'm on Android I don't know if it is for Apple also.
