Got a chance a few days ago to get some more pics. Thought id share lol:

I must say I really do like the Mk.2 Cupra R. So much style you don't even need to do anything to it, really suits that colour as well! Interior is gorgeous too. There was one in my village like this, same colour and everything but the alloys were black.
Very nice.

Well fitted some LED sidelight and DRL bulbs. So now all the bulbs match up well with the xenons. Also sprayed my indicator bulbs with some silver paint to take away the horrible orange glow.

Also got white LEDS for the numberplate lights

And all thankfully with no warning lights coming on to say ive a bulb out

I purchased the sidelights for my previous Cupra without xenons which brought on an error message. They work spot on in my R with Xenons which is a bit weird :-S

Well the number plate LEDS have brought on a warning :-(.

Took them out to be greeted by a burning plastic smell. Both of the resistors on the rear seemed to have burned out causing the bulb error message.

Anybody know ones that work ok on the FL Leons?

Purchased a footrest cover with an R logo. Very good fit

Well fitted the 17's (which are hideous) with the winter tyres. Cuts down in road noise a lot compared to the 19's.

Also what a difference a set of tyres make. Went up a random mountain road today to test them out. Road had been cleared by a tractor, so was basically ice. Could stop on the hill and take off no bother, as well as stopping almost like it was a clear surface. So id definitely recommend winter tyres lol.

lol. Yeah got the wheels for £100 so cant really complain at that. If I get a few winters out of the tyres ill be happy enough

The reason the the new car is slightly better on juice than the old one is that for some bizarre reason, they shortened the gearing on the FL Leon Cupra. The Pre FL Leon Cupra shares gearing with the FL Leon Cupra R. I have never been able to get the same mpg in my facelift Leon Cupra as I did in the Pre FL Leon Cupra on a steady run.

I am looking at getting the same car! same colour and all! I currently have a 1.4 TSI stylance i am test driving one of these at the end of the week...cant wait! i am 21...so my insurance will be going up quite abit....but regardless of that...MOORE INFORMATION!!! lol.....ps nice car!

You'll love it! I just enjoy the car more and more every time I drive it. Try and get one with the Media system and Xenons. Finishes the look off and makes it look a little bit more classy

Forgot to update this thread. Been running the ITG kit with a forge spacer for the past month. So far I love the sound!

Next on the list is to get it booked in to get the bonnet seal kit fitted along with new insulation as this one is rather dirty and saggy.. under warranty hopefully
