hi ross does the forge spacer make much difference thinking about getting one but have heard some people have removed them because they have lost perfomance

Tbh I fitted both at the exact same time. It doesn't feel any slower to me. I might take it off tomorrow and see if it makes much difference.

I think the spacer is rather quiet when combined/compared with the ITG induction kit. So I may take it off anyway lol

i can imagine i have the itg kit and it is pretty loud do you have any other mods planned im looking at getting a milltek very soon

I cant justify the price of the Milltek at the minute. Im still considering going for a downpipe and a remap. Something like this:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/SEAT-LEON...CarParts_SM&hash=item2c5dfeb19e#ht_704wt_1037

In the meantime, im going to get the backbox taken off and just get straight pipes from the centre section. Afaik the miltek also does away with the backbox that protrudes under the bumper at the rear.

Thats the main reason im doing it, i hate the fact you can basically see the whole backbox when looking from the rear of the car :-(

Have you got a RR thread up yet Tommy?

Yeah id love to go straight to stage 2, but the clutch would worry me. I just cant afford an exhaust, clutch and remap at the minute lol

Well got my 19's back from getting refurbed in grey, didn't fancy black as I think it would be to dark. Going to wait until the weather picks up a bit until they go on :)

Also bought a cheap set of centre cap stickers on ebay for £5, £14 each is just to much for the genuine Seat ones and theses dont look to bad.

Looking good! Nice finish as well. Will need to get mine refurbed at some point thanks to a combination of wheel cleaner and a tyre fitter with a wild chisel/screwdriver.

Yeah some fitters are just brutal when it comes to fitting tyres. Thankfully the guy that refurbs them runs a tyre places as well, so he removes and refits the tyres himself, without marking them at all :)

The grey goes well with the blue. Certainly makes a change from black as every other car I see has black wheels on it. Bet you can't wait to get them back on as they look massive compared to your others! :D

wheels look great ross where did you get them done i really want to get mine powder coated but cant find anywhere decent to do it

Glad you all like them. Got them done at a local tyre place (kmc tyres) that also returbs wheels.

Hoping the weather picks up so I can get them on lol

Well bought an Evoms engine cover which I think came off a MK5 GTI. Took a bit of butchering to get it to fit but thankfully its now on. Got a local graphics place to replicate the original cover as it was a bit plain looking just black:

Looks very good mate. I just bought a used cupra cover and changed my centre part with cupra R over.
I'm pleased how it looks
