MK3 FRONT SEAT REMOVAL

Need to give the front seats and under the seats a HUGE clean. Seen a video for removing the front seats and it looks straight forward.

I understand I must disconnect the battery before disconnecting wiring for the seats. Will there be any errors that will need clearing with an ODB scanner if I follow this method

I would say yes you will probably nees to clear some codes using obd eleven. You will possibly have low voltage warnings and steering angle sensor warnings etc. The steering angle warning clears by turning the steering to full lock a few times, but the others may need obd eleven. I had to change the battery on mine last week and used obd eleven to clear faults.
