Mk3 leon headlight issue

Hi all
New hear and hope someone can help

I had a crash and needed a new headlight original worked but was flickering
I had 5f2 941 007 A
Replaced with 5f2 941 007 F

I now don't have drl or indicator does anyone know if I need to clear the fault from the old one or code it in or simply non compatible? Many thanks

Passanger side is the new one

The passenger side headlight appears to be from a facelift model, so won't work on your pre-facelift car.

I agree...you can see they are two completely different lamp designs (behind the glass).

The lights are the same shape. Something has happened to the wing, the front edge is wrong. That is why the light doesn't fit. The metal on the facelift and pre facelift cars is the same. Unless you crash the car and bodge the repair.

It's just the wrong light unit, as others have said it's for a facelift car, so won't work on pre-facelift.
