Mk3 Throttle Pedal

As i understand, the throttle pedal on my y reg ibiza is fly by wire?

anyone know if there is one the fits that will use a throttle cable? thinking of an engine swap but the engine i have is cable

AGU engine code 1.8t out of a mk4 golf uses a cable throttle

But will the pedal from that golf fit my mk3 ibiza? I already have my engine in my garage spare and and to use that. It abit different to the 1.8t. Didnt want to build what you can buy

The Mk2 beezer should fit right in and it'll be cable, or the Mk3 golf ones too. Not sure if you'd need to do much to fit either.

your ibiza will have a golf engine in it then as ibiza's only come with AQX and AYP codes

Can't you just swap the throttle body? Be much easier.

Im sure itd be harder to wire ina drive by wire throttle to my new engine that just bolt in a different cable throttle pedal. Im no expert on drive by wire but wouldnt the ecu need it coding or a stand alone controller?
