If you do ever decide to get a carbon bonnet remove the lifting gas strut
I know someone with an R32 with one and the dtrut twisted it and pushed it up whilst driving
He also has the HPA mani's which look sexual, just to give you even more ideas

As for the bonnet I won't use gas struts I did on the Leon and it snapped the connector off lol , not sure if there any Differnt on the golf bonnets I'm biding on one at the min I will also run aero catches to hold the bonnet down

If you're putting a carbon armrest on, what's happening with the leather lid? I take its leather? I've just put a mk4 arm rest in my fr and need a leather lid

I don't even have the arm rest yet lol but the leather will be taken off and the lid done in carbon
