Mk4 with pop out rear windows

My 06 FR has them yet my sisters 1.2 04 petrol does not.

I think its a facelift thing

i've got them great for turning your car into a ported enclosure not so great when people try to tip their fag ash out of them!!!

judging by the difference between my old 1.2 and the cupra, the seals are completely different so I's hazard a guess at no

I must admit they are one of the most desirable 'secret' upgrades that came with the facelift. I would hate to travel in the back of my car with its fixed windows. And you get a bl**dy boot light too...

yeah i noticed theres no boot light. i didnt cotton on to that until i went in the boot of my c reg golf in the dark & thought 'hang on a min' when the light came on. looked in the ibiza & just as i thought... no light. its on my ''things to do'' list though

the rear quarter windows on mine are bonded in. but id of thought if i was to remove the glass, and scrape all the bonding off. there would be the mounting holes or whatever for the hinges for pop out windows there. then just get the seals/glass/hinges etc & fit it all. the shell wont be different throughout the range.

I don't think any Mk4 Ibizas had pop out windows before the facelift, so I don't think there will be holes for something which didn't exist. I could be wrong though.
