Thanks

Found them for sale at £379 for cupra which is about the same as DTUK after the standard discount DTUK give.

Presume the fitting is identical to DTUK box?

Jb1 is like $369 plus cable and shipping you end up with ca $440.

Dtuk yes - short term fuel trim will be way out. Wont be enough for dealer to deny. But might be problematic.
Jb1 no, as it interferes with the fueling aswell.

I made it $476.... $379box, $35 cable, $62 delivery. Thanks to Brexit that's £360 and it could get clobbered by another 20% from customs.

Certainly interested In the JB1 as sounds very good but think I would source from UK dealer.

Mardon,

The 265 has less timing and boost than the 280/290.
A tuning box is like below mathproblem.
Imagine that you have two glasses of water. One is filled with 2dl and the other is filled with 3dl. Then you add 2dl in each glass. Will both be 5dl?

Thats how a tuningbox works. Also why a golf r are getting slightly more power from a box than a Cupra.

A software tune equalise all the base numbers and add the same. Hence why they get the same results.
Thanks for a very good answer!

Can they be sold on after use?

Ohh, the shipping cost must have risen. I payed $40 or so for the shipping. Burger might adjust the declaration value if you ask them.. ;)

There are a few dealers in the uk though and also a good 2nd hand market.

I'm going to get one of these! Should take me upto 290 power at least.
I saw on another forum there might be a new one which can control per gear boost.

Any recommended UK stockists? Will they fit them or is it easy enough to do yourself?

Jb4 will be launched around christmas. They will have an upgrade path for existing jb1 users.

Ne of the only setups for boost by gear is syvecs I believe.
I'm running 456 hp and 30-130 is a good test, or 100 k/mh to 200k/mh which is 62 mph to 124mph
I did my test on a video and my car is 100-200 in 7 seconds, but again that was via speedo and video so in accurate

What turbo are you running for those numbers? Other supporting mods?

What boost was set for these results?

Hi Raven,

Do you know what boost was set for these results? Was it straight from the box map 1 or had it been raised?

Cheers
