Well its not really a problem, but when first starting my car in the morning, its kind of splutters when it starts. I let the ignition coil go out, and sometimes do it a few times to get it all up to temp. I have no lights or error lights to tell me my glow plugs are dead, but could a few be on their way out?

It doesnt struggle to start, just for the first few cranks it splutters into life rather than firing straight away

thanks

Ant

It does start, its just more of a splutter into life than a nice smooth start

And before i get hammered about searching, im on my blackberry which wont let me use anything flash based like the search function

whats the bast place to get glow plugs for a 110 non PD. euro car parts sell Densos for £8.14 and BERU's for £6.28 is this an average price? any recommendations over brand?

Also I read somewhere the glow plug loom can become faulty.. is this the case?

i'd start by swapping out with some new glow plugs. Presuming it starts alright when warm?

Oh yeah, when warm, it usually turns over once before firing, just when its cold that its splutters. Its due a cambelt and MOT soon so il get the plugs swapped out at the same time

Denso and Beru are both fine, used them both in the past with no issues.

Glow plug loom can become faulty, check the voltage along it with a multimeter.
