True techie, every cars reacts differently to remaps, depends how well your motors been looked after. rsmith, for example you sig says you have a Stage 2 map, yet your figures can be achieved from a good Stage 1 remap so as said, every cars different hey. (not having a dig by the way mate)

True, but for the stage1 those figures are just peaks, where as I can hold the power a lot longer than any stage1. I remember my first stage 1 achieved about the same figure but it was just a peak and the torque just could not be held, my stage 2 has a much better/wider power band.

And just for the heck of it there is another dyno that rated may car at nearer 289bhp which is bs IMO, so the dyno lottery comes into play to.

after some curious Questions i had i rang mike today and the mapper that does the motech map is called ''Richard washbrook'' which used to work for/with revo/apr europe...

So i can understand why peolpe on ed38 like them

They remapped my BMW 335I, totally happy with the service/map/price, and id happily use them to do my LCR, when i get one.

Interesting read. Nice to hear of another name to go with the usual suspects. Just wonder about the different maps. Obviously none of us are going to go for the eco map... but anyone know about the Active Map and X-Map? They are only about 1 hr away from me, so keeping an eye on this thread.
