get the Polo man for god's sake!! although if you're in the market for a pink ford kak, there's a gorgeous one in Bedford stickered up as Barbie's Ka :cartman:

did the very same thing mate 6 months ago loved my cupra r was spending 100 plus a month on fuel bourght an audi a3 tdi now where near the fun of the cupra but cheaper insurance 120 roadtax and a tenner aweek in deisel do make sense today

for the money they are selling for its not worth getting rid. i am keeping mine because for the money i payed for it its hard to find another car out there that is as good in my opinion.

i dont use mine on a daily basis but would defiantly consider a 150 fr with the cupra r stuff on simply because i think it would be more economical and you stil have alot of power there and nearly as much torque when remapped and diesels pull like a train. maybe that would cut the fuel costs alot.

buy a 130 tdi mate 120pound a year cheap to run cheap to insure an UBER cool:)
sorry to hear the bad news though mate

Sell a kidney mate, heard you can get up to 20 grand for one or better still sell one of your ex's (or both) lol :).

Serious though I hope it all works out ok for you fella.

private plate is now on retention (spotted a fellow scn'er at northampton DVLA but they did their best to avoid any eye contact) just waiting for my new V5 then its off to its new home. i'll probably post some pictures up of the new car then that'll be it for me as far as SCN goes.

see you back on MEG Karl ! remember FORD = Found On Rubbish Dump, Fix Or Repair Daily :)

Good luck with the new car mate

cheers gaz. as much fun as the LCR is/was the old dagenham dustbin i had beforehand was less hassle and cheaper to own. hopefully the new blue oval will be as reliable and when i've finished with it will handle like a go-kart

All jokeing aside Good luck with the new motor Karl :D
Just cos you dont own a Seat anyomre dont mean you cant come and say hello once in a while. :D

oh dear there has been a possible change of plan. i was browsing on autotrader and came across something very interesting. all i'm going to say is that it is 4WD, big, japanese and a diesel.

Toyota Surf? If so, give me a shout, I've had 3 and loved them all. However, both the Surf and the Land Cruiser are way more expensive to run than an LCR. 20mpg from the 3.0TD  and diesel is about 10p per litre more than petrol.
