I know.... I hate them too....
I'm just away to get my LCR sprayed to cover up stone chips on the bonnet, wings and below the bump strip on the doors. Its going to cost me about £1,500 all told and I don't want to risk getting pebble dashed again down below the doors.
So.........
Does anyone have mud guards fitted to their LCR's?
I know cupraclark has them fitted but wondered if anyone else has them fitted.
Do you have pictures, where you got them from and how much?
Clark got his from autosave and they look quite good but looking for other options

Cheers:D

silly question i know but is your no claims discount protected?
if it's gonna cost £1500 claim off the insurance and only pay your excess and you still have your no claims discount...if not get them protected and then claim.
also have you tried some one like chips away/dent doc ect ect...?
or like me have some little git key your whole car, total respray only costing £100 through my insurance cause its malicious damage... :(

as for the mud flaps some cars look good with them on.. have you tried good old flea bay?
been thinking about them myself

Leons look good with mud flaps, nobody else's opinion matters because they're all wrong :)

How would I manage to get my insurance to pay for stone chips?
If its possible I'll give it a try
I have approximately 10,000 stone chips so nae chance of getting chips away to do it AND I'm seriously fussy about my car so took me months to find someone who I would trust to do my car.

how long left on your policy?
you can always cancel policy and get a new cheaper premium with protected no claims bonus.. then make a claim..
so long as you pay the xs normally £250 it shouldn't be too much agro.just tell them that your paintwork is damaged, remember your insurance
covers everything...well it does if fully comp.
pop off to get a quote and let the process comense.
i went to my insurance and said i needed to make a claim cause it had been damaged to the roof and paintwork....(i had been to body shops for a price and it was more than my £250 xs)
so i made a claim...

I don't see how you could claim for this, surely it's just wear and tear. I can't really imagine that this would be covered on a policy?

i'm fully comp and i went down there and told them my paint work is damaged they told me to get a quote and they would process it.went to body shop and asked for the qoute to include stone chips and that, which they did.. gave it to insurance and they told me i would have to pay my xs though... then unlucky or lucky depends how you look at it...for me i was p***ed off at the time but my car got keyed and that went on too..got whole thing is being done for £100 as classed as malicious...otherwise £250 but alot cheaper than £1500.

all insurance is differant so best check with company 1st but my paint work is covered and that includes chips and dings..if fact everything is covered as far as i can remember.
BUT WE ARE OFF TOPIC SEEING AS THIS IS FOR MUDFLAPS :)

Yeah, I know, not an LCR just a tractor  but I've had a set of SEAT ones from when I got the Leon brand-spanking new 4 years-ish ago. No damage to sills or lower parts of doors. Problem is that the front ones ground a bit over uneven surfaces, other than that, I love 'em - not for the looks but for the damage they prevent. :)

Easy to fit, nice white SEAT "S" emblem on the rear ones too.

I thought I heard the LCR's bumpers would interfere with the mudflaps?

Anyway, I bought my replacements from a stealer for £20 - same ones by the sounds of it as Sooty's, with white S's on them...

The car bra in itself is a joke, therefore no attempt should be made to think about just how useful it is :)
