Hi people recently decided to purchase myself a seat leon cupra r 225bhp and i absolutely loved the car, but i got in my car today started to drive the car and after about 10 minutes of driving was deacelerating coming towards some taffic lights felt a little judder and then i felt i little loss of power and the nastiest knocking or rattling noise coming from the car everytime i accelerate now to describe the noise its like a rattle coming from the engine, i decided to limp the car back home and it kept making the rattling noise everytime i accelerated and it cut out twice and the oil light came on and then went off it isnt as loud when just on idle but its still pretty loud the sound is dreadful eventually when i got back home and parked up the car overheated majorly and the temperature went back down as soon as fans kicked in i then turned the car off as id got it home and didnt want to cause anymore damage than whats happend already really appriciate if anyone can point me in the right direction just where to start looking thanks.
