My '98 SXE

bought this car in october 2004 had it about a month when the bonnet catch broke and the bonnet hit the windscreen while my girlfriend was driving. So that left it with a bent bonnet and roof. Then I reversed into her Corrado a few months later, which knocked the filler out of the badly repaired bumper and dented the quarter panel.
when i bought it there were plenty of botched body repairs due to one "careful" lady owner. The bumpers were held on by woodscrews and the alpine white had turned a lovely shade of cream....
started work on the car in june this year, most of the bodywork was done by a friend of mine with a little help from yours truly. Shell was finally painted at the beginning of august and after many sleepless nights and some help from my girlfriend the car was back together by the VAGE Ireland show on the 5th - car was finished at 9am, show started at 10!

mods include a custom bootlid, solenoid bootlock, towing eye cover smoothed out, spoiler take off the boot, colour coded door handles, delocked passenger door, aerial hole removed, shaved/cleaned cills, seams under backlights removed, sprinter wing vent, side repeaters removed, relocated washer jets, bad boy bonnet extension, fk badgeless grill, ibiza cupra front spoiler & leon cupra splitter. 16 x 8 rota rims, weitec coilovers (height and ride adjustable).
VRS leather interior, retrimmed door cards, 7" screen dash mounted dvd player, jbl tweeters & mids, roof mounted 7" screen, vieta 6x9s, blaupunkt gta250 400w amp, 1000w 12" Ballistic Sub and plenty of welding, filling and sanding.

Future plans include new headlights, mirrors, single wiper conversion, hopefully an engine swap and the whole car will have to be resprayed (again!) along with getting the doorcards retrimmed
