Major big thanks to Irfan and everyone else at M1.

I picked the car up this afternoon in the sun, the pics really don't do it justice. :D

New Car........

Well for those of you that know me, the time has finally come and I have a new car.

I won't be leaving SCN though as my new car is still a SEAT & the Mrs now has the Trusty Cupra TDI.

Pics are posted in readers rides.

comparisons to your ibiza? Particulary on the handling front/

The Leon is so much smoother across poor road surfaces and appears at first appearances to be so much quiter and refined (should I use that word)

It also inspires confidence on turn-in which the Ibiza never did.

You should've sold me the Ibiza! Not given it to the wife!

You didn't have the Ibiza long did you? You'll notice a difference on fuel..... ;)

The Mrs needs the Cupra TDI as shes doing big mileage every day.

I had the Ibiza for 3.5 years, from new. :D

The Ibizas a nice car and look great when the Mrs went steaming past me on the motorway earlier.

I'd imagine that'd be particially down to the fact that the Ibiza was diesel = much heavier engine.

Also - because the Leon is longer track length, that'd mean it should be better handling. :)

Longer than I thought then! I do love the look of the Ibiza's. You should've sold me it. I want a Cupra TDI with low mileage for my 21st. Still a year and a month yet mind...

Don't go thinking the Ibiza Cupra TDI is a nasty handling car due to being derv, as it's not greatly different to the Ibiza Cupra petrol. (Mine did see off a petrol Cupra during my time with it, the member who's that was went and had it remapped a week later and got me back ).

The Mk 4 Ibizas all have a choppy ride, the Leon has a wider stance and significantly more forgiving ride. Just feels so much more compliant compared to the Ibiza.
