my calipers are peeling !!!!!!!!

hi guys

does anyone know where i can get my caliper sorted out

been to the steeler they ain't interested even tho its still under warranty !!!!!!

apparently its because or the cleaning agent so isn't covered :(

there is a refurb guide on here mate type in caliper refurb and you should find it

sounds like their fobbing you off it should be warrenty try another dealer

no mate , just re laquer. check out the thread, its on moffmeisters last post. cost about ten - fifteen quid all in. masking tape, degreaser, clear laquer. all from hellfrauds. i managed to do a good job and i'm mechanically dyslexic. :lol:

Does this work if you've overheated them too?

Mine have gone purple and the stickers gone yellow after todays track day :(

no no not at all, they have some really good ideas ,just the build quailty lets them down big time !!!

everybody's go the same mate, i just picked all the loose bits of laquer off with my finger nails then, sprayed them with degreaser and dried them off, you notice the difference after one coat of laquer, i used five all in and the whole job was done in about 2 hours. pimps and peasy as we used to say back in the eighties. ha ha. awesome guide from whoever wrote it in the first place, so hats off to them. i also did my rears in red hammerite cos they'd gone pink as well, then a couple of coats of laquer to finish them off.
