My carpet fror the driver's side is wet (left side)

there is a wet spot on the left side of the carpet someone told me that is the heater radiator and that it's need to be changed i tried to reach it but is very dificult for me to do it so i need a tutoruial or advice for easy removal or how do get my dashborad down cuse it's really expencive at the local garage and i want to do it myself so please help me plz plz plz

Could it be the door seal leaking if you do an advanced search you should find other threads with info and can hopefully eliminate it.Could possibly be from a blocked pollen filter worth a look buddy.

Could also be a blocked drain line from the air con condensate line. Had any work done on it recently?
Or as the kebab gobbler said, look at pollen filter, especially fitting. Had an issue with a Mk1 where it hadn't been fitted properly and let water pee in..... 6mm drill through the floor sorted it.... well we were trading it in.....

You need to know if its coolant or rain water. Hence the taste test...

door seals

as was said in a post when i found my foot wells had there own swimming pool that people were commenting that they don,t think there is a mk1 leon out there with a dry footwell , very common fault but pretty easy to fix just take your time its not a job you can rush with all those fiddly poppers on the door panels etc.

I too have the same problem, but think its more to do with the door seals myself, but still unsure

Almost certainly mate........ If a previous owner hasn't already sealed them like in the guide below, then they WILL leak. The crash sensors for the airbags are under the front seats, so you should make sure the doors are sealed before the water damages them.
