My Cupra R

Just joined the forum so heres my first post, This is my 3rd car and so far my favourite. 1st car as a 06 Ibiza TDI Sport, second was a Vw Vento TDI and now this is my daily cruiser.

Its a 2006 Leon Cupra R 1.8T one of the last few made and only 37K on the clock! I got it home and found it had plenty done to it, Green Cotton Twister induction kit, forge piping, induction sprayer, neuspeed anti roll bar, forge recirc valve, miltek exhaust and a few other things along with a remap has it sitting at around 280Bhp. It was family owned from new, and had a fresh timing belt.

So far loving it but not the fuel costs from ive been driving ive only had diesel so its been a shock to the wallet lol

Plans are to service it (parts bought) get some coilovers and then Rota Grids. Double Din centre console. Also going to get it converted to LPG within the next few weeks as i do big miles and makes sense being low mileage etc.

So that was how i picked it up. It just needs a few things to tidy it up altogther, gave the calipers a fresh lick of paint.

Ordered some vmaxx coilovers, i would defo recommend these even friends comment on how comfy they are.

Tore a CV boot taking the coilovers out so while everything was off treated it to some drilled and grooved disks and new pads all round, serviced and cleaned the bay up

Ive just been driving away at her for the time being ive been waiting for the right wheels to come up and want more of a drop. But until then plans are just to get new R badges as current ones are knackered and new tail lights as they all have hair line cracks.
